RWANDA GORILLA ADVENTURE - KARISOKE AND GOLDEN MONKEYS TREKKING - 7 DAY
Day 1
Morning arrival or mid afternoon into Kanombe international airport in Kigali and be met by our representative who will transfer you through winding roads to the Mountain Gorilla nest lodge for Dinner and overnight.
Day 2
Have an early morning breakfast and ready to trek the Gorillas in the park. Depending on the level of fitness, you may be asked to choose the group you wish to trek and the closest being about 2 hours or even a couple of minutes from the park boundary meals and overnight at the Mountain Gorilla lodge.
Day 3
Morning breakfast and hike the famous dian Fossey research centre and grave yard where he spent close to 20 years habituating, studying and conserving the endangered mountain Gorillas and overnight at the Mountain Gorilla nest Hotel.
Day 4
Have an early morning breakfast then transfer to the Nyungwe forest which contains a variety of habitats including montane forests, bamboos, grasslands, swamps and bogs and is very mountainous too. And provides some of the Golden monkeys trekking experience in East Africa. Meals and Overnight at Gisakura guest House.
Day 5
Early breakfast before starting the morning chimpanzee trekking expedition in the forest in search of colonies of habituated Golden monkeys and other wildlife which include Grey cheeked Mangabey, blue monkey, l hoest monkey, Angolan colobus monkey and Owl faced colobus monkey meals and overnight at Gisakura Guest house.
Day 6
Morning at leisure before heading to visit the genocide memorial centre where thousands of Tutsis and the moderate Hutus can be seen. Meals and Overnight at Milles Collines hotel.
Day 7
Morning breakfast and transfer to the airport for departure flight.
