UGANDA GRAND SAFARI 15 DAYS

Visit Uganda's National parks to enjoy wild life game viewing in Murchison falls, Queen elizabeth parks, trek chimpanzees in kibale forest, semiliki and budongo forest.

Day 1 (Transfer to Kampala)
Our Tour guide will pick you up from Entebbe Air Port and drive to your hotel for check in. If your flight arrives in the morning, you will embark on the city tour and visit outstanding and some of Kampala's historical sites with the help of our Tour guide. This city tour features sites like Kasubi Tombs, Bahai Temple, Wamala tombs, Namugongo Martyrs Shrine, Museums and craft shops, Uganda Wildlife Education Centre. Dinner and overnight at Imperial Royale Hotel/Namirembe Guest House.

Day 2 (Murchison falls NP)
After morning breakfast you will be transferred from your hotel to
Murchison Falls National Park. You will have a break at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola a home of Uganda’s Rhinos that were recently re-introduced to Uganda.
This sanctuary has now been established to breed black and white rhino, and restore Rhino populations in Uganda’s protected areas in a later stage. In Murchison falls park, marvel at the Nile, compressing from 50 metres to squeeze through a 6 meter canyon dropping 40 metres with a thunderous roar creating a beautiful rainbow, a plume of spray.
The sight of the Nile River, the world's longest river, winding its way through the park and plunging through a narrow gap is unforgettable. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge/Nile Safari Camp/Red Chilli Rest Camp.

Day 3 (Game drive and launch cruise in Murchison)
After breakfast, you will go for an early morning game drive to the rolling plains with chances of viewing Lions, Giraffe, and Hartebeest, Buffalo and Elephant as well as many of the other mammals of the park. This is a beautiful drive across Borassus Palm Forest and grassland savannah down to Lake Albert where the Albert Nile heads north to the Sudan. In the after noon after lunch, proceed for a boat trip on the placid Victoria Nile, upstream, to the base of the falls. The banks of the Nile are home to many species. Here you can view huge Nile Crocodiles, big Pods of Hippos and other wildlife that may come down to drink from the river. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge/ Red Chilli Rest Camp.

Day 4 (Murchison top of the falls and Kibale)
Early game drive to the Top of Murchison Falls where you can have a close look in to the gorge lunch in Fort portal town and proceed to Kibale for relaxation. Dinner and over night at either Ndali lodge/ Mantana Tented Camp.

Day 5 (Primate tracking and Bigodi swamp walk)
Early morning go for the morning Chimpanzee tracking in the forest and look out other primate including L’Hoests, Red colobus, Blues, red tailed and Gary checked mangabey. Lunch at the lodge and in the afternoon go for a guided walk through Bigodi Swamp that is a home to approximately 137 bird species and its also rich in vegetation, such as wild palms, polita figs and the dominant papyrus. Dinner and over night at Ndali Lodge / Mantana Tented Camp/Primate Lodge Kibale Bandas.

Day 6 (Kibale - Semliki Valley Wildlife)
In the morning after breakfast, drive to Semliki Wildlife Reserve to catch up the day’s activities. This valley is the “Garden of Eden” and has a magnificent view of the River Semliki meandering to Lake Albert. You may stop to visit a local farmer and have a brief tour of his farm then take your picnic lunch at the hot water springs arriving at the Lodge in the afternoon. The hot springs and crown the day in the pygmy villages located near the Ituri Rainforest. The visit to the villages has proven to be an interesting cultural experience. Dinner and over night at Semliki Safari Lodge/SemlikiCamping.

Day 7 (Semliki Valley)
After breakfast, you will track the Chimpanzee in the Gallery Forest of the Mugiri River. Have lunch and later go for a boat trip on Lake Albert in search for the Shoebill returning for dinner and overnight stay at Semliki Safari Lodge/Camp.

Day 8 (Queen Elizabeth National park)
Have an early morning game drive and in the afternoon lunch in Queen Elizabeth National Park .In the evening go for a game drive with chances of seeing elephants, warthogs, Uganda kob, lions etc. Dinner and over night at Mweya Safari Lodge/Kingfishers.

Day 9 (Game drive and Launch cruise)
An early Morning game drive in the park’s diverse Eco system of grassy plains is an excellent opportunities to see lions, leopards, buffalos, Uganda Kobs at the laking ground and many more. Return to the Lodge for mid morning breakfast, relaxation and lunch.
Late evening, go for a 2 hours boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel through the breeding Hippos. A tremendous variety of birds grace the grasses on the shores. The Great White and Pink-Backed Pelicans, Great and Long-Tailed Cormorants, Open-Billed Stork, African Jacana, Malachite and Pied Kingfishers are commonly seen. Diner and overnight at Mweya Lodge/ kingfisher.

Day 10 (Bwindi National Park)
After breakfast, have a game drive as you leave Queen Elizabeth for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Lunch on the way, arriving bwindi early evening for diner and over night at Gorilla Resort/ Buhoma Homestead/Community Bandas.

Day 11 (Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi jungle)
Early morning after break fast and briefing, with packed lunch, embark on mountain gorilla tracking through the rain tropical forest for the habituated gorilla family. The tracking may take between 2 and 8 hours so it needs a lot of energy and a high level of fitness but its well worth the effort. You may go for a Village walk to visit the Local Batwa Community walk returning to the Camp in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Resort/ Buhoma Homestead/the Community Bandas.

Day 12 (Lake Mburo National Park)
After breakfast, you will proceed to Lake Mburo National Park passing through the Switzerland of Uganda (Kabale) with fine-looking scenery and terraced farming arriving at Lake Mburo National Park in the afternoon for lunch. In evening you may go for a boat cruise. Overnight at Mihingo Lodge/Rwonyo bandas/Tented Camp.

Day 13 (Game drive in Mburo – Kampala)
After an early morning breakfast have a game drive to see zebras and Impalas, African Elands, Africa’s largest antelope! Then drive back to Kampala having a stopover at the Equator and Lunch. Over night at Boma Lodge/Sophie’s Motel

Day 14 (Ngamba Island Sanctuary)
This morning you will take a short briefing by the Tour guide the drive to Lake Victoria to meet the 9.00am launch. The boat takes about 45 minutes across to Ngamba Island, crossing the Equator en-route. On arrival at the island, a home to 39 chimpanzees, you will be given a short introduction and briefing on the sanctuary. It is fascinating to watch the chimps interact with each other and with their keepers. In the relatively short amount of time you are there you will be able to see such different personalities amongst the group, with some whistling for food and others clapping. Overnight at NgambaIsland Camp/Sophie’s Motel.

Day 15 (Transfer to Entebbe Air port)
You will be transferred to Entebbe International Air port to catch your flight Depending on your flight schedule.
