FISHING SAFARI 8 DAYS

350 fish species are known to exist in Uganda’s fresh waters the biggest water being Lake Victoria that is shared by Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania. The common fish species in Uganda include Nile perch, Catfish and Tilapia.           
The Ssese Islands on Lake Victoria, are uninhabited except by the local fishermen, and are covered in thick, tropical forest home to monkeys and birds. Fish of over 80 kg i.e. Nile perch have been caught. The main method of fishing in the lake is trolling with lures, although fly fishing has been tried as has live bait. The Tilapia of up to 5kg has been caught on bait at R.Nile below Murchison Falls and fishing is normally with live bait. Catfish of over 50kg are often caught in these waters.

Day one (transfer from airport to Hotel)
On arrival at Entebbe airport, you'll be picked by our guide and transfer you to your hotel of choice for relaxation, diner and overnight at hotel Africana (luxury), Namirembe guest house (budget)

Day two (Kampala - Murchison Falls)
Morning after breakfast, you'll drive from Kampala through Uganda's rolling green hills to Murchison falls national park. Lunch at the park go fishing within the evening for 3 hours at Murchison falls base therefore a relative level of fitness are going to be needed because the good is relatively steep. Within the dramatic pools below the legendary waterfall we'll be targeting the big Nile Perch which may have been caught in these waters over one hundred Kilos. Dinner and overnight at Paraa safari Lodge /Red chilli camp.

Day 3(all day fishing river Nile)
After breakfast, proceed to the river by boat in search of Nile perch and alternative species many of which may be taken on a fly together with the Awaka a small tiger and also the Ungara. The boat trip is additionally wonderful for game viewing as you'll be fishing in one among the most effective game viewing areas on the Nile River. Dinner and overnight at Paraa safari Lodge/Red chilli camp.

Day four (Fishing in Murchison Falls) 
This day will be fishing the large pools below the falls with lures, live bait and flies for the big perch. Again there are different species that may offer wonderful sport. We are going to take a picnic and lots of cold drinks and spend the day on these glorious pools. Dinner and overnight at Paraa safari Lodge/Red chilli camp.

Day five (Kampala)
Morning at leisure, after breakfast, drive to the highest of the falls. Lunch on the way and drive to Entebbe for overnight and dinner at botanical hotel/ Sophie’s motel.

Day 6 (Lake Victoria)
After breakfast, you'll take a ship and go for fishing on lake Victoria. Lunch at Ngamba Island and overnight at G&C's tented Camp.

Day seven (Fishing in Lake Victoria)
Spend the entire day Victoria on all the neighbouring Island of Lake Victoria returning to Entebbe within the evening for overnight at botanical Hotel/Sophie’s motel.

Day eight (Airport Transfer) 
After breakfast, transfer to the Entebbe airport to catch your flight depending on flight departure times.
