3 DAYS NGAMBA ISLAND

Safari includes chimpanzee tracking and trekking, primate trips and nature walks in the forest
23 Kilometers off shore from Entebbe road, Ngamba Island chimpanzee Sanctuary is on Lake Victoria and it’s situated on a stunning forested island that is a home to approximately 40 chimpanzees saved from poachers and other forms of personal captivity. 
The semi-wild environment permits for close viewing of the animals in their natural habitat.
The Sanctuary was set up by a group of concerned organizations including Republic of Uganda wildlife Education Centre and Jane goodall Institute among others, to supply a facility for currently over thirty three orphan chimpanzees to co-habitat in a near natural environment.

Day 1
Arrival at Entebbe airport. You will be picked by our tour guide who will offer u a short briefing on your hunting expedition and then take a ship ride off from Entebbe to Ngamba Island. Depending on time of arrival, walk to the neighbouring native communities and later go for chimpanzee viewing on Ngamba islands.



Day 2 
After breakfast, have a forest walk through the forest. It’s a beautiful adventure with the playful primates together with chimpanzees and monkeys swinging up on the trees. These creatures enjoy climbing guests and pulling their luggage, hair and walking on guests while holding their hands. Lunch at the camp and either relax at the Lake Victoria’s shores or take a walk in the forest in search for birds, butter flies and other small insects are also present. Have dinner and overnight at Ngamba Island Camp.

Day 3 
Morning at leisure, after breakfast, you'll have a nature walk in the forest, have a ship transfer to Entebbe.
