A 5 DAYS SAFARI UGANDA AND RWANDA

Day 1
Very early in the morning, you are picked from your hotel then drive from Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, have a brief stop at the Equator and Continue to mbarara for lunch. Drive through the Ankole grasslands where the outstanding long horned cattle graze, before going on to the highlands of Kigezi referred to as the ‘Switzerland of Africa! Arriving bwindi in the evening for diner and overnight at Volcanoes lodge/Gorilla Resort Camp/Lake Kitandara camp/Gorilla Forest Camp /Buhoma homestead/Buhoma community Bandas for those on budget.
Day 2
Very early in the morning after a heavy breakfast, with packed lunch, assemble for briefing from ranger guides who will lead you through the impenetrable forest. Tracking the Gorillas through the thick forest is an awe-inspiring experience! If you are lucky you can get to see the gorillas.
Wear good hiking boots of an ankle level and long trousers for protection against stinging nettles. In the evening return to the campsite for diner and over night stay.
Day 3
After breakfast, depart for Rwanda enroute view typical Ankole cattle, coffee plantations and potato plantations terraced and cultivated hills of the Kigezi region, best known as "the Switzerland of Africa”. Have a stop over at the “kitagata” off spring which is believed by the local people to wash away misfortunes and heals diseases. Kisoro is positioned at the base of Muhavura volcano at the borders between Uganda, Rwanda and Congo. The vicinity has one of the best sceneries as you continue to katona border and reach Ruhengeri in Rwanda in time for Lunch, dinner and overnight at Gorilla Nest Lodge/Kinigi guest house/Virunga Lodge (FB)
Day 4
Early morning after breakfast, report to ORTPN offices for briefing after which set off in the forest for Gorilla trekking. Gorilla trekking is so fatiguing but enjoyable on encounter of these gentle giants. Carry with you a parked lunch and plenty of water. The excitement of your coming across with these calm giants will wipe away your complexity of the potentially strenuous trek. Spend time watching gorillas, watch the adults feeding their young ones, brushing and resting as the youngsters play from vines in a pleasurably playful display. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight
Day 5
Morning at leisure, after break fast, drive back to Kampala. Lunch en route arriving late evening. The safari package includes:
